Worship Arts AttcWorship Arts

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs!”

Whether it’s with the swell of the organ, the soft strum of an acoustic guitar, the close knit harmonies of a praise choir or a stunning act that speaks a truth, the arts have the ability to draw our hearts and our spirits toward God in a way few other things can. From the very beginning, we have sought to speak to, and about our God, through music and praise.

At Faith, we believe that music in worship should stir the heart and help us to reflect on God’s love and grace. Below are several ways you can be involved in the Worship Arts @ Faith Church.

Song Leading

Handbell Choir LogoHand Bell Choir

The Hand Bell Choir rehearses at 6:00 PM on Wednesday nights each week and plays at the traditional services once a month. To explore joining the ensemble, contact Director Janie Wilson, at Janie@bso-ae.com or 816 896-8302

Wednesdays, 6pm, Main Sanctuary.

While we frequently have instrumentalists add their sound to our Sunday morning traditional services, we are in the process of forming a new orchestra that will provide more regular and robust instrumental music for our worship. If you’re interested, whether you’re a music teacher or haven’t played in 40 years, let us know! E-mail Janie Wilson at Janie@bso-ae.com.

Contemporary Praise Band

Our Praise band prepares a combination of the latest Christian music with choruses and praise songs, to provide a more modern worship experience, with a full band and vocal team.
