Tae Kwon Do Class
Tae Kwon Do is the art of striking with the feet and hands. What sets it apart from other martial arts is its prominent use of the legs, as well as the emphasis on the moral and spiritual development of the student. Classes consist of physical conditioning and flexibility, basic techniques, self-defense, mental focus, mental/physical coordination, and mental/physical/spiritual balance.
For Class Schedule, see: Church Calendar Here.
Tae Kwon Do is one of the few sports that parents can participate in with their children, so we encourage the whole family, ages 8 and up to join our class. Students have the option to test for belt rank, upon completing requirements.
Fees: no fees for class participation; Instruction is being donated, but there are fees for rank testing.
